– What did you think when your Bayern move was confirmed?

Tel: “Of course I was very, very happy because I’ve been waiting for it for a long time. I’ve always wanted to go to FC Bayern and it’s been a big dream for me since I was a kid”

– How did you feel when you walked into the Allianz Arena for the first time?

Tel: “I was absolutely overwhelmed. The atmosphere was incredible and the stadium was so big. I love it and I’m enjoying it as well”

– Do you feel comfortable in Munich or do you sometimes feel homesick? What’s your favourite place in the city?

Tel: “Yes, of course – I like Munich. And the people of Munich are very nice. I like being on the Isar. I’m not homesick, but sometimes I miss my family and friends in Paris”

– Which player do you get along with best?

Tel: “Actually with all the players. I’m often with the French players, but I get on well with everyone”

– Do you have a specific ritual before games/training?

Tel: “I listen to music and pray that I’ll be calm and focused on the game”

– What were the nicest win and saddest defeat of your career so far?

Tel: “The best win was the final of the U17 Euros against the Netherlands. The worst defeat was when we lost 0-3 against Leipzig. I wasn’t happy because I didn’t play well”

Tel: “It means: I don’t just talk, I also do”

– Why do you always play with a bandage on your right arm?

Tel: “I’ve been wearing it since I was a youth player. I had an injury and I played very well with the bandage so I kept it on because it brings me luck”

– Why do you wear the number 39?

Tel: “Because I already had it at Rennes and also because Nicolas Anelka wore it. I like Anelka, he was a really good player”

– What do you like to do most in your free time?

Tel: “I like to chill and spend time with my family and friends. But it’s always quiet, no parties”

– What’s your favourite holiday destination?

Tel: “I like going to the USA, especially Miami – because of the sun, the city and the people”

– What job would you have if you weren’t a professional footballer?

Tel: “I would’ve become a veterinarian because I love animals and we have a cat here in Munich”

– What are your goals for the season?

Tel: “I want to score 15 goals and give 5 assists and then of course win all titles for the fans”
