Ma wife bought a small pack of dean’s shortbread. She pointed out to me this design and said it looks like a way to include less in the packaging. I couldn’t stop laughing at the prospect of them doing something like this. But then again, aye, it is 2023 and people are getting shafted left right and centre.
Could this be a sign of shrinkflation, or just a design feature for other purposes?
