##**Hi everybody!**
What better way to kick off the holidays than filling out a census? A lot has changed since the previous edition [way back in 2021](https://old.reddit.com/r/thenetherlands/comments/qg9ctk/rthenetherlands_census_survey_2021_the_results/). Fortunately, Covid-19 and the associated safety measures are no longer a daily concern to most of us. Reddit itself has seen some changes this year, such as the API/third-party app changes and subsequent blackout protests. We are curious to hear your opinions on these matters.
Perhaps the biggest and best change has been on our own subreddit – we are fast approaching 1 million subscribers here on /r/theNetherlands! That means we’ve doubled our subscriber count in the past two years. At this rate, we will overtake the real Netherlands by 2032.
We are very grateful to all of you for participating in this subreddit with all of your great posts and comments 🙂
The survey should take about 7 minutes to complete. We will not ask for your username or personal details that could identify you. Data we receive will never be traded. A summary of the collective results will be posted in a couple of weeks.

##**Hoi allemaal!**
Is er een betere manier om de feestdagen in te luiden dan het invullen van een censusonderzoek? Er is veel veranderd sinds de vorige editie [lang geleden in 2021](https://old.reddit.com/r/thenetherlands/comments/qg9ctk/rthenetherlands_census_survey_2021_the_results/). Gelukkig zijn Covid-19 en de bijbehorende veiligheidsmaatregelen niet langer een dagelijkse zorg voor de meesten van ons. Reddit zelf heeft dit jaar een aantal veranderingen gezien, zoals de API-/third-party app-wijzigingen en de daaropvolgende blackout-protesten. We zijn benieuwd naar jullie meningen daarover.
Misschien wel de grootste en beste verandering was op onze eigen subreddit – we naderen snel de 1 miljoen abonnees hier op /r/theNetherlands! Dat betekent dat we ons aantal abonnees in de afgelopen twee jaar hebben verdubbeld. In dit tempo halen we het echte Nederland in 2032 in.
We zijn jullie allemaal erg dankbaar voor jullie deelname aan deze subreddit met al jullie geweldige posts en comments 🙂
Het formulier duurt ongeveer 7 minuten om in te vullen. We zullen niet vragen om je username of persoonlijke informatie die jou kan identificeren. Gegevens die we ontvangen zullen nooit verhandeld worden. Een samenvatting van alle resultaten zal over een paar weken gepost worden.
