Hallo zusammen, my partner and I got slammed with a ~1700 euro additional payment for 2022 extra costs. We live in a new building and were the first tenants of this apartment (we moved in at the end of 2021). I know that gas and heating costs skyrocketed because of the war in Ukraine, but does anything look unusual or out of proportion here? Is it common that you divide up the costs across the building according to your apt size? Thanks for the help!
