I am looking for your suggestions for PC games which you can “play in Swedish”. The best would be if the entire thing (narration, voice lines, subtitles) is available in Swedish, but if you know a good title that has at least Swedish text/subtitles available I am interested in that as well. Most of the bigger titles only have English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and then the Eastern European and Asian languages, not any of the Nordic ones. (Which is in line with the “we don’t translate any foreign media so people learn English” policy, which I love, but in this case I am trying to learn Swedish 😉 )

As for genre, anything goes apart from fantasy-MMO and very heavy horror games.

I am also looking for something that is a bit more challenging gameplay-wise than for example [Karlsson På Taket & Kuckelimuckmedicinen](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ9QjTpf4i0).

  5. The Longest Journey (Längsta Resan) had if i remember it correctly Swedish dub and subtitles. It’s an old game but still great adventure game.

  6. Generation Zero
    Fully swedish setting, story, narration and one of the best gun sounds from a 3rd party(coop) perspective imo.

    Only thing dubbed is the English subtitles; unsure if swedish subtitles as well exist as an option.

    Though if looking for a fully story rich game with non stop conversation; this game isn’t it.

  8. Raft is made by a Swedish company and you can play it fully in Swedish, highly recommend! Easy going game, best played with a friend 🙂

  9. I remember the older ubisoft games came with Swedish interface and subs, like assassins creed revelations etc. Problem was that it used system settings so if you had your Xbox360 set to Sweden it used Swedish interface and you had to change your whole system to change language.

    I think they have fewer languages for the newer games but you should be able to find some ubisoft games from around 2010 at least, maybe newer too.

  12. Portal 2 has Swedish subtitles but no Swedish dub. I believe that Portal has Swedish subtitles as well. Minecraft (which of course doesn’t have any voices at all) has Swedish as an option for the interface.

  16. The ratchet and clank remake is in swedish with swedish subtitles. And the voice acting is really good too! Though i think many of the ratchet and clank games have atleast swedish subtitles

  17. Raft! Game can be played fulle in Swedish which feels weird. But it’s fairly new still and pretty good.

  23. Problem with finding things dubbed with Swedish is that swedes generally prefer subs so it can be a bit hard, luckily you’ve already gotten some good recommendations. I think Netflix even got ridiculed after dubbing a few of their originals

    I’d look for children’s games because those are more likely to be dubbed

  25. Dungeon keeper 2 har sjukt bra dubbning. Han gör all berättarröst i kampanjen. Riktigt nostalgi för mig.

    Spelade DK2 i vuxen ålder fast på engelska, var inte alls samma sak utan svenska dubbningen.

  26. I think Valheim is available in Swedish. It’s an amazing game, I would give my right arm to play it for the first time again.

  27. Resistance for ps3, you have to put the whole PS3 in Swedish to activate it if I remember correctly

  29. The sly games, or sly 2 and 3 for playstation 2 can be fully in swedish. So if you’re into emulation, you could give that a go. You’d need to find a nordic rom/iso file for the game of course, and I don’t know if that’s hard to find or not. The games are very good, I definitely recommend them. They talk a whole lot which is positive if you’re trying to learn

  33. Hade tänkt föreslå bolibompadraken-spelet men tydligen finns det inte längre eftersom att flash försvann 🙁 där försvann en bit av ens barndom alltså

  35. Archive.org har Mulle meck, Back packer, Greveholm osv. Man får köra med windows xp för att kunna spela dem :).
