Follow up on eggs in fridge or not. What does the pack say?

  1. You don’t put eggs in the fridge, unless you’re buying those weird chemical cleaned eggs they use in America

    Ignore the packet

  2. I’ll give you a run down as an ex chef. Eggs can turn sour in the fridge if it’s too cold. The yokes will also split easier if kept in the fridge due to the viscosity of the yoke and the white separating from each other. Cold eggs are also bad for baking and can ruin recipes. Eggs should be kept at room temperature. To check how fresh your eggs are put some water in a bowl/pot, enough to fully submerge. If they float, fuck them out. It they sink to the bottom and lay flat they are very fresh, if one ent stands up or up a little they are still grand but don’t use these for poached eggs as the white has started to go watery.

  3. In Denmark we keep eggs in the refrigerator all they way from farm to costumer.
I talked to my local egg dealer, and they told me, their eggs are sold to Saudi Arabia because the eggs are kept cold they way we do in Denmark.

  4. It’s all part of big poultry’s agenda to get you to become a slave to the big electric companies so Bill Gates can steal your wifi. And anyway, who knows that’s in those things in the first place. Not like they put a list of ingredients on the box

  5. If you want them to last longer put them in the fridge, if you’re going to be through your eggs with a week or two leave them in the cupboard.

  6. If something is in the fridge in the shop, it goes in the fridge. If not, it’s clearly safe to keep it outside the fridge, what am I missing here?

  7. Eggs keep better in the fridge than at room temperature in a normal house. They stay more congealed and fry and poach better straight from the fridge. Left out the white gets more watery

  8. Fresh eggs have a natural anti bacterial on the shell. This stops them from going off, and can be left out of the fridge. However, lots of eggs are washed especially if supermarket types so lose this anti bacterial surface, and wont last as long.

Buy fresh eggs. And do what you like.
