Today I learned about the case of Elena Frantzi. Aged 10, she accused her priest-adoptive father of sexual abuse, but she was not believed. At 20, she spoke to the court, and the priest was sentenced to 18 months in prison. Upon release, he returned to his duties. Elena committed suicide in 2018.
