And it seems that I’m a close contact of each one.
If 1 in 10 people were infected it could make the next 9 weeks interesting /s
So the covid certs are on track to be fizzled out? Right?

Gnarly.
And we have Covid for everyone in the audience !!!!
Licking it off the stones at this stage
All these irresponsible people not locking themselves in the basement. How you dare go out, live your life and infect others?
I’m starting to feel left out.
I feel like it’s a miracle I still haven’t gotten it, haven’t been a close contact of anyone who has gotten it, and barely know anyone who has gotten it.
I nearly wouldn’t mind getting it if it meant a few days at home.
Definitely had it a few weeks ago , lungs were in giblets just stayed in bed for a few days .
Considering we just passed 1 million total cases in Ireland for the entire pandemic last week, it is wild to think we could do half that in just a single week.
But seriously, are ye spitting in each other’s mouths or what?
500,00 infected in a week, 1,000 in hospital total, 90 in ICU. Obviously both lag cases, but it’s clear the strong link is broken. So why is it illegal to sit in a cinema or have a pint past 8pm, precisely?
Well historically the influenza pandemic ended not by eliminating the virus but it mutated into a less deadly virus. Vaccines have allowed us to basically speed run a pandemic without too many excess deaths
Can someone give it to me please? I have a surgery in February and knowing my luck I’ll get it just before the surgery and not be able to have it.
10% of the population in one week. How tf is still thing still going? Will it ever burn itself out?
So half a million people got omicron in a week and there are <100 people currently in icu who mostly have delta from before and this hasn’t shown a single sign of changing. So this is literally nothing to be concerned. Why do we have any restrictions at all?
But yeah keep schools open cos they’re definitely safe .
