Hi! I’m not sure if this post is acceptable, but I don’t know where else to ask about this as I can’t find a subreddit for the Maltese language.
On the Wikipedia page for Maltese, it includes *bababa* as an example of using b, but instead of a definition it says “say for nothing.” I’m not sure what that means, though.
Is this a real thing, and how is it actually used? Any help would be appreciated, sorry if this is the wrong place for this.
