my family is a mix of a lot of different cultures, but on my moms side it is mainly polish. through the years, a lot of polish traditions and customs in my family have slowly faded out. to try and tap into my heritage a bit, i decided to make kołaczki cookies to serve to my family as a little reminder of where we came from. as you can see, they were a bit of a fail, but i’m sure they’ll still taste great!
