I’ve been wanting to go check out tuusula lake for their ice skating thing they’ve got going [here](https://www.tuusula.fi/sivu.tmpl?sivu_id=2401) but i’ve got no ice skates. But based on what i’m reading i’m not 100% sure on the rental aspects of skates there, so i’m wondering if I should just go purchase some regular hockey skates and bring them, or what i’ve looked at now is some touring skates. But i’ve actually never used them, nor ever seen them before.
Based on some simple searches I can’t really find out where to buy them and checking intersport the cheapest ice skates I can find is like 250 eur, so i’m wondering to try to find some used pair on tori, or maybe look at buying some touring skates.
Unless there is a good place to actually rent some skates near lake tuusula.

I am not anywhere near but found hotel Gustavelund renting skates, kicksleds and snowshoes. Open on weekends 10-18 if weather is good, other times call to the number to arrange rentals.

Check out SportDivari in Tuusula for used skates
If you end up buying retkiluistimet, I recommend you buy those that attach to normal skate skiing shoes so you can use the footwear for other things too. You could also just use normal ice hockey skates, you can get used ones for 20 e or new ones for 50-100 e. Those are better than the retkiluistimet that attach to hiking boots too.
