I am studying web dev from the [Odin project](https://www.theodinproject.com/) ([my github](https://github.com/VrakasYi?tab=repositories)). I think it’s pretty good as it teaches CSS, HTML, JS/Ruby, React, Node, basic git and command line and even a bit of webpack, with lots of projects. I am about half way (probably around a year left) to finishing the course.

But it is no degree.

So I worry that I am wasting my time if employees don’t care about projects done and want to see a degree. At my current company, they only accept people with either 2 years of experience or a degree.
I don’t see a lot of entry level job listings either, and even these usually require a degree.

What do you guys think?
