Halló! I hope this post is appropriate for your subreddit.
I’m currently in Reykjavík and working on a YouTube video about your great city. It’s part of a series I’ve filmed in 20+ cities around the world, called “How many languages do you speak?”
The concept is simple. I ask strangers how many languages they speak, and then a couple of follow up questions about their languages, their city, or their culture.
Here are examples that I’ve filmed in [New York](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aPsvqf-0Vk) and in [Paris](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MH0sPC7aSQ), and in [Tangier Morocco](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/HfKH2v8ieFg/hq720.jpg?sqp=-oaymwEcCNAFEJQDSFXyq4qpAw4IARUAAIhCGAFwAcABBg==&rs=AOn4CLDFwfPIE3l0esY4ncboza6vvhiFwg).
Since the daylight is short and the weather is cold, Reykjavík will be a particularly difficult city to film in. I thought it would make sense to reach out here and see if there’s anyone who would like to be part of this project.
It can be done in as little as 5 minutes of your time. But of course I’m happy to chat longer as well.
For your help I can invite you for a coffee, share any business or artwork you have in the video, or just give you the knowledge that you are helping to share your city with viewers from around the world.
I’m in town today, Tuesday and Wednesday. If you’re interested please don’t hesitate to reach out via email ([danvineberg@gmail.com](mailto:danvineberg@gmail.com)) or instagram dm (@thenewtravel)
With respect,
Dan
