Hi All,
Booked a holiday to Norway today for myself and the wife. Just thought I would stick up the itinerary here in case I’ve done something completely stupid and you can warn me, or maybe it’s the perfect itinerary and I’ve aced it! Either way, I’m interested to hear your comments.
Land in Tromso on 02/02/24
Day 1
Land in Tromso at 17:00. Rent a car, stay in the city.
Day 2 and 3
Drive to [https://www.northexperience.no/](https://www.northexperience.no/) in Oteren for 2 nights in a glass igloo, hoping to see the Northern Lights. We will go on a snow-mobile safari the first day and a husky sled ride the second day.
Day 4 and 5
Drive to [https://auroraborealisobservatory.com/](https://auroraborealisobservatory.com/) in Silsand. Spend two days exploring the area, some hiking, maybe cross country skiing and in the evenings, sitting in a jacuzzi hoping again to see Northern Lights.
Day 6 and 7
Drive to [https://sommaroy.no/](https://sommaroy.no/) . Spend two days there. Maybe get out on the water kayaking. Whale watching. Exploring the area.
Day 8
Drive back to Tromso, book a hotel for the night. Go out for a meal in the evening. Go for a few drinks.
Day 9
Catch a flight back to Irleand.

What do you think? Is this all easily doable? Is there anything on route that I am missing out on that I should include? Any general tips or advice to help us enjoy our time there even more? Is there any traditional Norweigan food I should try while I’m there? Or Norweigan alcohol?
