European high tech companies are thriving because of money from the U.S.A.
TL;DR Europeans do not go in the same numbers to USA to fund companies but remain in Europe. USA investors are crossing the ocean looking for them and new business opportunities.
Kind of wish the EU was more protectionist in order to foster their own tech growth/potential giants. But i guess nobody wants another trade war right now.
