That’s right his name his Chico and is a male cat and is two years old. 🙂
I really tried everything to help the cat. I contacted the shelter in my area and told them about his story. They came immediately and tried to catch him with no luck.
We exchanged numbers to stay in touch and try to help the cat together. They even suggested that i foster the cat or even keep him if the owner doesn’t show up. The cat has no chip and is not a crime to keep him and to help him. The whole street had basically my number and was known as the girl who is looking for the cat. Lol
The shelter did post a video of the cat running on facebook and a friend of the owner recognised him.
Apparently the owner was an old lady who got the cat as a gift from her daughter. He slipped between her legs while she was checking her mail. I gave her my number and told her the second the cat shows up ill call her to come out and try to catch him herself.
And indeed the cat recognised his owner and went immediately running to her.
I just find it confusing that the owner didn’t try to search after her cat for a whole 5 days while the whole neighbourhood was basically upside down. I just hope she will rake care of him and take to the vet. And if she needs help she has my number.
Nonetheless chico is now home and i have now lots of new cat friends. I think chico’s purpose was to introduce me to my neighbours and go back home. A Christmas present 🙂

P.s. that’s an old picture of him. I asked the owner to send me a picture of him first, just to be sure that he is really hers. One of you gave me this advice, thank you. 🙂
