  2. I wouldn’t trust Marca, but even it this were true the headline is greatly exaggerated. They could’ve said “Madrid will only sign emergency centreback on loan” and it would mean literally the same thing. Oh well, anything for clicks right?

  5. It was pretty obvious this would happen, there is no really good CB in the market, so you either expend a ludicrous amount of money for a good CB or expend a ton of money for a mediocre CB, both options are terrible.

  7. Even with these injuries it’s not a good move to go for a CB. Loanee, sure, buy one? Never.
