Nothing to suggest it being fake. Looks like typical northern lights.
It’s probably not fake, but it is a high exposure on a camera, and not something you’d necessarily see looking up at the night sky with your eyes. Northern lights are just as beautiful with your eyes, though!
No it’s not fake. His account seems to be normal and it appears he’s in Iceland and is tweeting about the volcano eruption in many other posts
We were able to same kind of picture during Bárðarbunga eruption in Jokulsarlon.
Looks normal to be, a little bit extra from the camera but it’ll look better in real life anyway
Looks about right to me
This looks correct, as so many have stated.
He should have taken video to show how noisy they are. Not many realize that they are deafening.
No. Its the usual strange light scenario here.
And theee is volcano
Nope
Not fake, but long exposure and heavily filtered. The northern lights were probably not visible with the naked eye, or at least just barely.
There was strong aurora activity yesterday when the eruption began. So it’s possible, even plausible
What’s X?
Northern lights are incredibly photogenic. This a true oicture with long exposure, so with a naked eye it most likely looked like a way darker place with a very faint greenish thing where it is the strongest. Very often when I take a night pic I realise they are everywhere while ai could not see them.
