New Years Eve is going to see years of pent up frustration being released on even the most mildest reveller via pepper spray
True story – I was pepper sprayed by a dope of a gard on a night out in Dublin when I was a youngfella. He missed his intended target and hit me flush in the face. I wouldn’t trust them with a pepper shaker
It’s all well and good until the gards use them on protests they are ordered to break up. It’s naive to think these will be used responsibly and only against riots and other violence. There should be clear regulations for when the gards are allowed to deploy the pepper spray.
Hope they get some training for it too.
Is there a low-strength pepper spray? Like pepper spray lite? Where you don’t want to deter an attacker, you’d just like to annoy them a wee bit.
Can’t wait to see videos of a some yungfles getting peppered

LOl they already had it as they walked up to me threatening to spray it in my face while I was taking out the bins one time so this is hardly news.
