Germany orders artillery shells for Ukraine for over $400 million. Germany approved orders for more than $400 million worth of 155mm artillery shells for Ukraine in recent days, in separate deals with Rheinmetall and an unidentified French company.

   There is only one company in France, producing 155 mm shells and this is of course Nexter.

   68.000 155 mm shells, so around 4.000 € per shell from the company in France….

   Most likely a big order of Lu211 shells (order of shells of the L52 shell family so illumination, smoke e.g.).

   Excellent choice for the 155 mm L52 SPGs.

3. This is great, just wish these orders had gone in two years ago. The sense of urgency is still unfortunately missing.
