  1. Quick question, because I’m not a numbers person. Spending can be up while consumers actually get less right?

For example, maybe I bought each person I know three gifts last year, but now I’m spending a little more.monwy on each person while only getting them two gifts because everything is more expensive.

  2. Intimating what, that people’s Xmas shopping outlays are somehow linked to their opinion of the current occupant? Dubious

  3. Pandemic broke people when it comes to economic expectations. The new normal is most everybody is unhappy with finances even if their situation improved.

  4. Seems people just like to blame Biden. Which is normal considering the people actually causing the problems won’t shut the fuck up about how everything is Biden’s fault. I for one am excited to vote again for the guy. He’s been better than I thought and wildly successful. Sorry everyone’s feelings are up but that’s just, you know, like your feelings man.

  5. I can’t understand what is happening.homelessness is up. Company profits are up. Luxury brand cars are selling out. Houses selling within a week over market price. Unemployment is record low. Prices are up and then down. But people feel things are expensive yet malls and grocery stores are packed. So confusing all over.

  6. Spending more $ because of inflation, not because families are buying more. Another slant piece from the propaganda machine
