  1. Hard hitting news.

I’m sure they’ll break up before the end of 2024 so she can release a new album.

  2. She produces 138 tons of gas emissions every 3 months?

    What a catch.

  3. She farts THAT much?

No wonder she goes through boyfriends as often as she does.

  4. I get the outrage but there just isn’t a feasible way someone as famous as Taylor could fly commercial.

Airports and airlines couldn’t handle the absolute chaos that would follow her to every single flight and airport

You’d have hundreds of people trying to meet her everywhere she goes, tracking fights etc

You’d have crazy fans even buying tickets for flights they won’t get on just to try and meet Taylor at gate A12 or overload every flight trying to get on hers

Or you’d have 70k people waiting to see her concert but she can’t make it because her United flight was delayed and she’s stuck in Orlando 😂

  5. There’s a new form of air travel that’s way more environmentally sustainable; let me introduce you to the catapult!

  6. Cool so let’s put that into some perspective.

Let’s say T-Swift generates that much C02 every 3 months which will put us at 552 tons of C02 generated this year.

Meanwhile we have Vistra Energy generating 95,000,000 tons of C02 this year. That is about 0.000581 of Vistra’s total 2023 output that Taylor is matching.

What’s more the total global C02 generation of the world for 2023 is 40 billion tons.

This seems like such a non-story and a ‘feels good’ win for people that have an ax to grind.

  7. Judging by the comments it seems like this is an effective distraction from big corporations responsible for the vast majority of CO2 emissions. It’s not us guys it’s Taylor Swift lmao

  8. That’s roughly equivalent to the CO2 produced by a combustion car over >400,000 miles, for context. In three months.

  9. “To repair the environmental damage caused, 2,282 trees would have to be planted and flourish for 10 years in order to restore the balance.”

She could probably afford to do that.

  10. Taylor Swift could m*rder someone and yet her stans will come defending her LOL. The woman hasn’t said a word in support of Palestine either and she’s Time Magazine’s person of the year.

What a joke this world is.

  11. These pieces are wilfully ignorant of how many planes are in the air at any given time.

  12. Girl falls too hard too fast everytime. She’s a love addict

  13. This is like any famous person ever. I watched a vlog for Karen Gillan around Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 time and she was poppin back and forth between places for press event, photo shoots and then back to set. I get that this is more “leisurely” than that, but every famous person is pumping out CO2 because that’s just the nature of publicity. It sucks

  14. This feels like a Proclaimers remix I didn’t need

  15. Focus on corporations and manufacturers not individuals

  16. Haven’t they only been dating 3 months? Why are people saying “soulmate”?

  17. While I think the headline is a little sensationalized with a negative bias towards her. (We don’t know why she flew and the article also provides zero sources or facts.) She deserves to be criticized for this a hundred percent and she should cut flying where she can.

However, even if the mob pesters her into not flying again ever, it’s an ongoing issue with a lot of billion/millionaires and I believe there should be legal action build against this. It’s the rich, not just Taylor.

  18. Pro sports teams are worse and leach on tax payers like organized crime.

  19. Here’s the issue. What’s her real option? If you think she can fly commercial – and not cause insane ruckuses wherever she goes – you live in an alternate reality. I travel a lot so I’ve flown commercial in the same cabin as many smaller level celebs (NAS, Terrell Owen’s, Hulk Hogan, etc.). The disruptions they caused were significant.

  20. I’m all for shitting on billionaires for the environmental impact their lifestyles have, but throwing “soulmate” in there in quotes feels like a cheap way to belittle her. There’s a portion of the press that hates her when she’s single, and hates her when she’s with someone. Not sure why we can’t report without taking pot shots anymore.
