Many grains of salt should be taken when listening to anything Russia says.
Way to keep up appearances, Russia..
I’ve been on this planet for 40 years now and I can’t remember Russia telling the truth even once.
Imagine being the person at the Kremlin that had to tell putin that you fired your undefeatable missile at an American air defense system from the 80s and it got shot down.
As opposed to the Brit rockets / missiles.
They seem to be pretty effective…
The US made the F-15 Eagle the last time they tried to oversell a piece of military hardware(foxbat). And it had an air-to-air kill ratio of 104 to 0.
Wonder what mega death 3000 laser system this is probably forced us to build, lol.
Essentially mirroring their sad military.
Undefeatable by anything Russia has in its arsenal. The rest of the world’s… Not so Undefeatable after all.
Russian scientists flying from a window in 3,2,1…
Keep arresting all your rocket scientists, Putin. That’ll improve matters.
Shocker.
Really what this shows is that Russian AA doctrine is just bad. They thought the missile was unstoppable because they can’t engage it. They can’t engage it because Soviet AA doctrine is all about big radars and fast missiles. So it makes perfect sense – if you can get your cruise missiles from the horizon to the target before the AA can react, it can’t be shot down. It’s a perfect counter to Soviet doctrine.
Unfortunately for Russia, western AA doctrine is all about effectively extending the horizon with extremely low latency IADS, which turns this from an impossible physics problem to just a radar density problem. Maybe if Russia had actual VLO tech this would be a bit more scary, but they can’t even get that right.
No military hardware is undefeatable. The problem is claiming that something is because the inevitable defeat will only make the claimant look more foolish.
In elementary school my friends and I got into this game where we would draw various military vehicles in our notebooks while trying to one up each other’s creations. Inevitably this game degenerated into us drawing various indestructible weapons I.e. indestructible flying tank, indestructible submarine that turns into indestructible flying tank, and so forth.
Yet our childish games yielded more plausible super weapons than anything Russia can concoct.
And no I’m not available for contract weapon design Vlad…
If it doesn’t work, it can’t be defeated.
But they worked. Those Russian missiles have successfully intercepted American anti-missile missiles.
*The line about it being undefeatable came from Russian President Vladimir Putin, who used the word when it was unveiled in 2018.*
Nuff said…
Before this war started I was very scared of the capabilities of Russia and a world war.
I can now say that while the west may struggle to send as many bodies, our technology is way superior to Russia’s and probably to China’s too.
So overall I feel less scared.
Slava Ukraini!
Russia has crap 😳
You guys really think that the Russians think that the missile is undefeatable?
Is this the “modernized” one?
The Ukraine conflict is one giant bake off for our arms
Putin: Why don’t they work that well?
*leans in to inspect the missile, sees “Made in Russia” printed on the side*
Putin: Ahhh!
Well the Brits should know considering what happened to HMS Indefatigable.
Edit: and HMS Invincible.
Yes, and Putin announced today their nuclear arsenal in now fully modernized. Sure it is.
Many of Russian weapons are not delivering on the promises made when used for the first time in real battlefield scenario in Ukraine with Kinzhal missiles joining the rank.
To be fair, some are due to using it improperly and training of the operators so it might not be the hardware’s fault.
Next up on “No Shit Sherlock”: the Great Pyramids. Is it possible Egyptian civilizations instead of aliens built them? Stay tuned and find out.
But they get to keep testing it in a theatre of war so inevitably it will get better
Another Russian piece of shit which is all hype and propaganda.
UK intel that told us Russian infantry took Bakhmut with shovels?
Or the UK Intel that said Russias defence manufacturing resorted to stealing components from dishwashers?
If you believe this, its because you want to, nothing more.
