  1. I know it isn’t exactly small arms that they need, but there should be some kind of organized charity amongst the ammo manufacturers:

“For every box of ammo you buy, we’ll donate a box to Ukraine.”

  2. well, it entirely depends on who’s the next US president…

  3. “Hey, hey, bro…chill man. Now lean in close. *whispers* I’m going to get you your shit, man. I’m fucking King Kong in this motherfucking house. Congress ain’t got shit on me. I OWN those traitorous shitstains. Ukraine/USA Democracy all the way, Baby! Y’know what I’m saying Zel?” – Dark Brandon

  4. Hopefully not. It’s clearly not accomplished anything and while there’s aid outgoing there’s ample opportunity to slide a few extra hundred million out with it no questions.

How much is the peace budget?

Sorry but I’m just sick of reading about the billions of dollars sent over there only to see it literally go up in smoke while we’re staring down the barrel of major climate disruptions further adding to that. Not like every explosion isn’t bestowing misery on those around them. We’re funding that. Pat ourselves on the back.

They have been given enough and then some.

At least 45 billion alone from the US to solve some petty grievance of someone who is just a bully, with absolutely no effort to prevent similar things in future. It’s not dollars for fodder it’s lives and only talking money disassociates you from that.

  5. Of course they will, The Republicans just needed to give Putin a bit of breathing room over Christmas

  6. US just bypassed congress to send even more aid to Israel.

    US halted aid to Ukraine.

They are more eager to support Goliath over David

  7. When Republicans get their way on the culture wars in the US they will give aid to Ukraine. It’s like negotiating with 10 year old kids.

  8. As am I. Ruzzia can go dm someone who cares. Maybe Trump will answer. Oh… wait… he will be in jail! Putin remains a mater strategist two years after the start of the 3 day invasion.

  9. Republican voters seem to love Russia, commies, dictators and Putin so could be dodgy if the Cheeto wins.

  10. The fact america is so divided over supplying ukraine with money and arms is absolutely moronic. Paying a fraction of there defense spending to destroy the russian army at no expense of my american lives should be the most common sense assessment for any politican in america.

Also fuck hungary and orban fucking buddy buddy bullshit to putin. Fucking kick hungary out of the eu and tell orban to fuck himself.

  11. I’m sure it will happen but House Republicans are going to make Ukraine crawl over broken glass to get it. You might be tempted to accuse the GOP of being pro-Putin, which is certainly true for a concerning number of Republicans, but the bigger problem is that many Republicans just want to oppose whatever the Democrats support. Not giving Biden a political win is more important than anything else.

It might feel gross and wrong but Ukraine and those who support them have an extremely powerful ally: the US defense industry. That is an interest that always gets what they want. I doubt this time will be any different.

  12. Russia is already controlling USA by putting Trump in power again.

Zelenski is not going to receive help anymore from USA. They have to help Israel now.

  13. The USA loves wars with no clear endgame. They are very lucrative for the weapons makers and government contractors.

  14. Europe just gave a bunch of money. Biden is gonna let the republicans flail until the last possible second.

  15. I wish I believed in my government as much as he believes in my government.

  16. I hope they don’t lose but IF they did, I can’t imagine what the insurgency would look like. Given the terrain and massive European border, how could Russia sustain success without massive losses and financial drain?

  17. Well i hope they do since Russia as far as i heard can only sustain this nonsense for 3 years before they run out of resources.

  18. I sure hope so. Ukraine needs our help a lot more than Israel does.

  19. I hope so. I genuinely wonder if these republicans even understand the far-reaching consequences of bailing on Ukraine, let alone letting Russia win.

America’s reputation as a global watchman will take an enormous hit to its credibility. It sends very powerful messages to the world that America may not be as reliable as a partner, especially during times it’s needed the most.
