  1. Useful Poo-tin’s idiots – NYT, WP etc. 🤮🤮🤮

  2. That’s because all good Russian operatives call it a Special Military Operation.

  3. maybe in their opinion it doesnt generate enough clicks anymore? no idea for the reason, but newspapers only think in clicks/sales – what they write about… well thats not as important to them as long as it sells… its a business after all, if we like it or not.

  4. My newspaper in NL still has a designated war in Ukraine section.

  5. I don’t really love the Daily Telegraph but they’ve been really good on the war in Ukraine and have a good daily podcast since the beginning of of the full scale invasion.

  6. War in Ukraine wasn’t in the top 10 google searches for 2023. It is reality we have to deal with, unfortunately.

  7. God bless these brave defenders of democracy, these unspoken heroes at the Washington Post. Democracy dies in darkness, indeed!

    Godspeed heroes! 🏳️‍🌈🇺🇸✊🏾✅🙆‍♀️

  8. Coworker of mine actually told me there seems to be nothing much happening anymore in ukraine. And we are in Germany. I had to educate her about the daily 3-4 figure losses on both sides. Its crazy how news outlets control what people think

  9. But kept the Democracy Dies in Darkness

While they are doing one step to that direction

  10. They removed a shortcut based on click rate, and not their war coverage. A quick search shows 133 articles about the war in the last 7 days.

  11. May sound bad, but the worst Putin can face is no one cares about Ukraine. Why? Because we spend billions and no one cares. And we can double and quadruple it and no one will care. Because it’s the right thing to do.

If the same was in the US the bill would have been passed a while ago. But as some asses care they block.

  12. F*** the Washington post, and the New York Times while we’re at it.

Bada boom bada boom jagga jagga

  13. I cancelled my subscription months ago. Reading it is like doom scrolling.

  14. Maybe too many wars to choose from and they didn’t want to play favorites?

  15. These decisions are made based on engagement. I wouldn’t read anything more into it.

  16. The Washington Post blows anyways nobody was reading what they had to say

  17. I guess the wars over then. Time to go home everyone

  18. Click on World and there you find War In Ukraine as their lead header.

People do find strange things to find offence about.

No posts about NYT not having it in their banner? What about CNN, Daily Mail, FT, The Messenger, NBC News, MSNBC, Semafor, Fox News, Grond News, LA Times, USA Today, Axios, none of whom have a banner section for it.

  19. They’ll replace it with the current Israel/Palestine conflict

  20. they’ll replace it war in israel or something, to hide the gene-ocide happening in 🍉🍉🍉

  21. Since when were they obligated to have an entire main category dedicated to the Ukraine war? It’s a 150 years old newspaper centered on the DC area

  22. It’s astounding isn’t it? Perhaps the most defining generational and major power conflict since WW2 and goldfish-brained West is like, “meh”.

*”Don’t it always seem to go you don’t know what you’ve got ‘til it’s gone, they paved paradise and put up a parking lot”*

  23. Hopefully next we can stop sending them all this money to waste. Ukraine is a corrupt shit hole. The propaganda jumps between Russia cant possibly win in Ukraine, and they’re so powerful they could just sweep across Europe and conquer the world if we (taxpayers) don’t support this money laundering operation.

And fuck you if you’re dumb enough to shill wars for these greedy bastards.

  24. russian/right wing propaganda did a good job getting people to nto care.

West really really needs to up its propaganda campaigns

  25. It amazes me how many american is against the war aid.

90% of the war aid stays in usa as in production for new weapons. You get rid of old stock that will go bad at some point anyway.

“We should use it to end homelesness in our own country”

Isn’t there huge amounts of money already used for this? But the money is given to some corporations that should handle the homelessness. But they don’t. Since as long as the problem persists, they will get insane amounts of money from the government.
