This is what the countries that signed the convention are obliged to abide to:

Just to point the obvious. Purely from legal point of view the ONLY refugees in EU could be Ukrainians ONLY in the neighboring countries. All the rest are illegal migrants and each country has very clear laws how to deal with those. There is no legal ground to object the jailing illegal migrants, for example.
So, either you take refugee and receive money or you’ll have to pay money? Is this correct?

For €20.000 per refugee it’s a bargain. I think Wilders might personally sent some money ahead to Italy already just for good measure.
