  1. This is a major part of the issue. If everyone else cleans up how much can it really hurt if I don’t. Or, my contribution is so small by comparison that until “they” do something I’m not either. The environmental issues are increasing in mindset of the masses but its not yet strong enough to hold government accountable. Things like EV mandates are a great real world example. If people really cared and EV’s were considered good enough it would happen automatically. But hey, we know smoking is a leading cause of cancer and you can still buy cigarettes.

  2. No one is going to leave money on the table. A full on shift to distributed power and EV technology is the only way to shift the money away from oil.
