Hi everyone,
I’ve been researching tax regimes around Europe for a while now and I thought I had settled on moving to Zug, Switzerland due to the extremely low tax regime.
When you go to the Swiss government website to calculate taxes you can see what the tax burden is in each municipality & canton. For some reason it seems that Solothurn hasn’t imposed any cantonal or other taxes for 2022… https://swisstaxcalculator.estv.admin.ch/#/taxburden/income-wealth-tax
Could someone shed light on why this might be?
Perhaps the canton is late in processing tax returns, or they’ve tried to position themselves as the tax haven of people’s dreams?!
Thanks

That sure looks like a database error to me.
It’s because all the rich and famous people moved to Olten, so the government has more tax income than they know what to spend it on.
No.
