As good as it is to see justice done, I absolutely loathe the Garda twitter account. It feels so out of touch with reality sometimes.
The comments on these tweets just absolutely tear into them because the action taken within the posts seems to be the exception and not the rule.
It’s good to see that some Gardai will make the effort to find people’s lost property. But when in reality most won’t help you do that, seeing a singular occurrence be posted on twitter for brownie points kind of rubs me the wrong way.
Is that a change in policy? I’ve always heard they won’t use the Find My location as proof, given it could be a little off?
Probably getting a suspended sentence when in reality should be getting ~10 years for this shit.
Inb4 17 extra suspended sentences, to go with his pokemon collection of 200+ suspended sentences.
When my motorcycle was stolen the tracker tag I had on it showed me where it was kept and the Garda told me there was nothing they could do. Apparently it wasn’t enough evidence due to “range”.
