This is shocking, the number of countries who condemned Russia’s actions in the occupied territories of Ukraine has fallen dramatically from 141 to 78, while the number supporting it has risen from 7 to 15. More countries abstained than voted for, 79. What has caused so many countries to change their minds?
Interestingly Hungary voted in favour of Ukraine. Is this the first time China has openly shown support for Russia?
Many of these coutries are not exactly known for their human rights policy. Sooo it is not a surprise that support is dwindling when Massacres are not happening on a wider scale like when the war started
This who abstained or voted against do not support democracy and freedom. Boycott them and their country’s products.
Americans this includes Mexico and Honduras
Some countries are 🤬🤬🤬 …just thinking of their wallet.
🤡👹💀
The world has lost it….
The usual suspects have spoken. Make sure you never visit any of those negative red countries. They are the cesspools of our beautiful planet earth…
My goodness. This does not bode well for future stability in the world. I read this as countries beginning to take sides in the next global conflict.
There’s a lot of countries out there that love to see the West weakened and Russia/China as strong. Usually short-sightedness or historical grievances from a century ago.
The true irony is that if the West were to actually say – “ok, fine. They win. We won’t try and stop their influence. They can do what they want in Africa and Asia and South America” – you’d *very* quickly see the “evil West” narrative change.
Because whatever World Order China or Russia have in mind – one thing’s for sure – you won’t even get to *have* an opinion they don’t like.
I think that people here are not grabbing how it might be a reaction of Ukraine unconditional support of Israel. After all Israël is illegally occupying its neighbour…
You count the ones who backed you up. You remember them. Then, you also remember those that turned their back on you. Then proceeded accordingly. Your friends and backers get your favor and support, others need to pay upfront for possible support.
What we need to do is stop manufacturing in China and India. This is what has enriched them and emboldened them.
Rank hypocrisy
Bribes, infiltration, propaganda, blackmail. You know, the ruzzian checklist.
The sad fact is peace, democracy, stability, and human rights are the abnormality and not the normality and an after thought for most autocratic regimes. Most of these countries couldn’t care less about their own people, let alone those fighting a defensive war for their sovereignty and to not be butchered.
Every country that voted or abstained are cesspools of corruption and wannabe dictators. Literally every country that is yellow or red I never plan on traveling to or ever dealing with. Weird huh ?
“Africa, the Arab states, most of Asia, and a large part of Latin America, still appear unwilling to condemn Russia’s imperialism and aggression while pointing fingers at other supposed international culprits and “imperialists” in the Western camp, thereby parroting Moscow’s narratives.
“When the likes of India, which claims to be the world’s largest democracy, prefer to conveniently keep sitting on the fence and see no evil while continuing to boost its trade with Russia, you know that it’s not principles that matter but cynical pragmatism.”
This right here. Frankly, I’m done with those countries whining about past Western imperialism and colonialism while refusing to say anything about Russian imperialism and colonialism in the present. They’re nothing but hypocrites, and whatever problems they have today are of their own making.
