  1. So here we are, setting up designated kind zones.

    Sign me up.

  2. Men finally getting some help they so desperately need. Good to see it, and good on you, Les Welsh. We need more role models like him around!

  3. “The average suicide rate in England and Wales in 2022 was 10.7 deaths per 100,000 people.

The statistics also revealed that men made up about 74% of suicide deaths across England and Wales in 2022, and suggest that overall suicide rates in the country are about the same as the previous year.”

Shocking statistics. Usually I get downvoted and harassed for even daring to suggest the topic of loneliness and male suicide doesn’t get enough attention. Maybe this is the start of people taking it seriously.

  4. A small but very much needed step in the right direction.

  5. Feel free to join your local men’s shed.

You don’t have to be alone. Reach out, say hi. It’s okay if you’re awkward, anxious… It’s all good.

  6. Absolutely see why it’d be trialled in Ashington. Utterly devoid of hope.
