Red Cross can just sue Hamas to cover this lawsuit. Hamas is the one who captured him.
“The lawsuit accuses the Red Cross of not acting to fulfill its mandate to visit the Israeli hostages held in Gaza, and for not guaranteeing their safety or acting for their release.”
Would be nice to know if the Red Cross gave any reasons as to why they cannot deliver the medications. The article is missing anything about that
Sue your government for not trying to get you

After 2 years of the russsian invasion of Ukraine, I realize that the Red Cross is totally useless: they have never visited any prisoner camp where Ukrainian soldiers and civilians are held “because russsia doesn’t allow”.
I’m sorry for their trauma, but suing the Red Cross because a terrorist organisation wouldn’t give them access is ridiculous.
Good. Someone needs to sue those guys for not letting anyone utilize the red cross in a video game.
I haven’t seen a red health kit since DOS Doom.
If any of you bothered actually reading the article, you would have noticed it states that they were suing the Red Cross for:
1. Refusal to get involved in the first few weeks of the hostage crisis
2. Accusations that they refused to take medical information and medication from the families of the hostages
3. Hamas and Israel agreed on visits from the Red Cross during the ceasefire which did not happen
I don’t know how truthful all of it is, and how much any of this is the direct fault of the Red Cross. That’s what lawsuits are for. But I think people here would do well to maybe feel a bit more empathy towards people who were taken hostage by a terrorist organization and (rightly, imo) feel the world abandoned them.
Sue hamas too while at it, will have the same result.
