I really like the rosehips, compliments the variety of vegetation. Lovely wreath!
Dull story, but when I was a small boy in about 1970, my Nan and a bunch of her friends used to go down to this freezing corrugated iron hut at the end of her Mum’s garden and they used to make wreaths whilst they all gossiped and smoked. At the end of the evening, a man in a knackered old van used to turn up, buy them all, load up his van and leave.
The women would then buy bottles of ale and chips and potato scallops and we’d all sit around the coal fire eating them, trying to thaw out.
They weren’t as smart as your Mum’s but it jogged a happy memory.
