  5. Couldn’t get through the paywall, but I assume by “record high” they meant 10-year high or something like that. Not to be a killjoy, but homelessness was higher around the time of the 2007 financial crisis. Also, the US had about 20 million fewer people then, so the per capita number was substantially worse.
