2. Well, why doesn’t france donate a little more equipment then?

3. Macron is a politician through and through. Great words with 0 credibility behind them. In the past 2 years France has sent 500 million euros worth of military aid to Ukraine (France has a gdp of 3 trillion usd, so 6 trillion over 2 years.). Basically as good as nothing. Of course the scalp missiles were a great help, but that doesn’t win wars. They also delayed plans of producing artillery shells for Ukraine because of politics, just to green light the unchanged plan in the end anyway.

   But of course everyone is going to remember how hard the days leading up to the invasion were for Macron, which were captured by photographers when he was on the phone with Putin.

4. Remember those 10 putin calls a day, at the beginning of a war, but rn France is a decent ally, they did give a lot of equipment.

12. It’s great to hear France take a strong position, and in favor of Ukraine.

13. He’s right, and America needs to realize that their hesitancy has far-reaching consequences that they may not have intended. America is the leader on this whether they like it or not and when they waver on supporting Ukraine it makes other countries doubt the mission and whether it can be successful which is the worst thing you can do to Ukraine because your convincing other countries not to provide aid as well. It’s making things so easy for Orban to spread misinformation and make his asinine insane propaganda seem normal or like it actually has merit to some people. It gives russian propaganda wings. It makes putler look right in his strategy to stall the war out as long as he can so Western governments get fatigued.

    This will just encourage putler to make the war last much, much longer in hopes that the West gives up. So by hesitating, it’s making things so much harder than they have to be let alone all the battlefield momentum and success that you’re losing by hesitating. Whatever initiative was won and whatever fire control that was won is now slipping or not lost entirely because of the lack of ammo and support. They had plans to continue their assault into the winter. But they can’t really do that without consistent aid, so its just helping russia on the battlefield whether they intend for that to happen or not.

14. The Europeans sure talk a good game. Too bad they couldn’t come close to giving Ukraine the support they need by themselves.
