As the title mentioned, I lost AirPods during skiing. Someone took it and use it for his/her own. I can track it on Find My app. It was used yesterday in Sporttikeskus in Lohja.

Need help: I have filed a report to Police and attached all the location information I got from Find My. But what else can I do? Would the policeman go there with me and help me find the AirPods?

  1. This is just what I think, also based on my experience not in Finland, so I could be completely wrong.

    I don’t think the police will play detective to find some AirPods which weren’t even stolen, just found, and there’s no one you can pin it on.

    However, you can try to track and meet the person and ask for them, and then you can call the police in case you get threatened physically and you’ll have an actual someone that you can accuse of having your AirPods and not returning them.

    Also have you marked them as lost and leave a message yet? I’m just asking because the “notify when found” is toggled off.
