Given how the job market here has played out this year with redundancies, job security fear as well as very little pay hikes following the non existent pay hikes post Covid, it should come as no surprise. To top it off, essential items from a supermarket like cooking oil, milk, eggs etc have also seen price hikes adding to our financial burden. Not going to mention higher utility bills and increase in rents beyond a small percentage.
I for one am definitely struggling and have no room for extra expenses and wonder how it is for others.
