I know it’s not technically illegal but I strongly feel that the man who sat in front of me on the train and ate seven carrots and a load of green beans then left the compost needs locking up

  4. Littering is illegal surely? Dunno why people suddenly feel rules don’t apply in cinemas, trains, theatres etc. Absolute scum.

  8. I got on a train once, the guy in front of me took out a bag of boiled eggs. I’m talking Ziploc with ~8 full boiled eggs in it.

    He would have one every half hour or so. Just as the smell was dissipating, BAM! ANOTHER EGG!

    I have never been so flabbergasted.

    It was a 3.5 hour journey.

  9. When I was younger I used to get the bus to work with a man who would eat, every day from as far as I could tell, a big brown onion (peeled). Raw, like an apple. These people live among us.

  10. You sure it wasn’t reindeer in disguise? Might have been getting warmed up for Christmas Eve surprises left out for them…

  11. Another bug bear of mine is people who use the toilets on a train and then don’t close the door… They just leave it swinging/banging about.

  12. Many years ago, I was on my way home from a festival on a train. We were sat on a four seater with table and this older woman gets on at one of the stations and sits opposite us. She proceeds to pull out a full loaf of uncut bread and just go at it like a savage, crumbs flying everywhere, only stopping to let rip a burp.

    After the heavy weekend, I thought I might be imagining it, but my mate was full witness to the horror as well.

  16. Littering is illegal. Leaving bits of vegetables is not something to get locked up for, but fined possibly.
