Is Ticino becoming a negative exception in Switzerland?

  1. It’s rather positive on red spectrum. How about you tell us what we are supposed to see?

  2. We know Ticino is a problem, but is it possible they are using a global value for poverty for all of Switzerland? Ticino has quite cheaper cost of living

  3. This is the risk of *relative poverty* compared to the rest of Switzerland. So while they might have less income than the people in Zürich, they likely have much more than their Italian neighbors, and they have lower cost of living, are easily able to shop in Italy, etc.

So this chart, with so many confounding factors, doesn’t say much about how life is actually like for the Ticinesi.
