Mum didn’t know where the water reserve was when she ordered it, there was no picture or description. The cooker (electric) has a gas pipe behind preventing it from pushing in further which I don’t think the council will remove incase the next tenant has a gas cooker. Great start to the morning.

  1. You may be able to get a drain kit for the dryer and plumb it into the drain.

  2. I have the exact same problem! I can turn the dryer slightly though and the plastic is (kind of) flexible so i can pull it down and under the bit of the oven that blocks it. Good Luck!

  3. That’s a pretty simple fix TBF, just use a junior hack saw and remove that corner from the oven.

  4. So long as it’s not a completely snug fit, you might be able to rotate the dryer anticlockwise just a little bit. It might be enough to let the reserve past

  5. Pull the dryer out a little at a slight angle and then you will be able to get it out.

  6. That’ll be alright,
    Just use it as normal,
And when it fills up, pull it out and drill a small hole In The bottom of the tray, pop a bucket under it and it will be empty in no time!

  7. That drier has a rubber hose running from the heat exchanger to the tank at the top (bit you can’t get out) , you can pop the hose off that and just run it into a waste under the sink. If it’s short I’m sure you can get a longer hose.

Its really worth doing that anyway. That tank can be quite heavy when it’s full.

  8. Condenser dryers also need space around them to operate properly. I don’t think they’re suitable for this sort of installation, but what do i know.

  9. That’s a design flaw – they should have made the water tank curved, like the magazine of an AK-47 assault rifle

  10. Drill a hole in the top of the water-drawer and when it’s full and need’s emptying , use a straw to drink that fresh warm clothes juice. If you’re lucky the drier might have had your nans knickers in

  11. Is the dryer near the sink? Condenser dryers can usually be hooked up to the sink drain like a washing machine.

  12. I’ve never seen one of these dryers before.

Is a simple fix just to angle the dryer a bit? You could put it on slidey disks so you can swivel it to pull the water thing out and then swivel back

  13. Can’t she not move the dryer forward and angle it so she can take out the drawer? (Long winded but…)

  14. How long since she ordered it and was it ordered online? Hopefully could return under the distance selling rights if under 14 days and order a machine with the condenser somewhere else.

  15. 2 factor authentication. You just need to remove the oven first then you can access the forbidden water.
