In the 2nd surprise attack since having the Patriot system, on the night of December 22nd, 2023 it seem Ukraine moved a Patriot air defense system battery close to the front line and quickly shot down three 2 seater Su-34 planes worth around $50mil each. At this point the Patriot use like the first months ago, is being talked about by Russian channels.

Russian channels discussing the shoot down and use of Patriots again.
I would hope that sanctions on high tech make it very difficult to replace these things and even if they could it takes a long time and is very expensive.
So this is huge!
So instead of shooting down missiles the patriot missiles are shooting down planes? Now why didn’t we think of this? Great job, Slava Ukraini! 🌻
