2. These pariah companies desperately want to live under Muscovy’s thumb, just like Orban and MAGA.

3. The title shows the problem. Italian CEOs know that worst-case scenario of Russia invading Italy itself, won’t happen for decades… if ever.

   But they are absolutely short-sighted. Stakes are clear with Russian victory.

   If Putin wins, the dystopia he wants will see the collapse of the UN world order. We will absolutely see regional strongmen lord it over democracies and invade their weaker neighbors. Italians will suffer, either under domestic fascism or under direct invasion, perhaps from some new wannabe Islamist caliphate sponsored by Russo-Iran.
