  1. 1. Nobody should be abused for their innate traits
    2. We live in a world where our technology allows us to expose ourselves to the opinions of literally billions of people
    3. Some people are dickheads, some people are mentally ill, the internet is filled with people(often kids) who troll for a reaction

The moment anyone becomes famous or well known, points 2 and 3 mean abuse is simply inevitable. I’m not excusing it, just pointing out the guts of the problem.

  2. In daily life if I come across someone who is being racist, etc, I mention it to them and usually point out to them why they can’t afford to.

I can get away with doing that most times because I am a scary looking fucker… but you get the point that if you can speak up against this type of abuse in a way that you can get the message across with out getting yourself harmed you should.

  3. Within 2hrs of using my real picture as my profile pic on Twitter I got quite a lot of abuse about how ugly I was 😂 I’m no oil painting but I didn’t realise the front of my head was so offensive!

  4. It’s crazy to me that I grew up watching these people being treated like props on children’s TV. How must a young man my age with this condition have felt?

  5. I don’t use photos of myself on ANY social media. I wish I could because I use my social media primarily for work now.

Every single time I try it, I get a man every day trying to hit on me.

If I make a comment and people disagree, they’ll use my skin colour, sex or apparent age in some pathetic attempt to discredit me.

As soon as I remove it, it stops. Nobody knows if I’m a man, woman, what colour my skin is, what age I am…nothing.

  6. There was an issue a few years ago with a US pro wrestling company of dwarfs who were going to tour the UK, and they got negative attention from a dwarfism charity. I thought the charity was ironically being ignorant, but I now understand their concerns, because people can still be primitive morons.

A dwarf is ‘just’ an exceptionally small person (I’m just copying off a Wikipedia page). That’s a mundane thing to be abusive about. I don’t think a lot of abusive people would act the same with WWE’s [Omos](https://img.bleacherreport.net/img/images/photos/003/889/151/27b6694cb052936302fd71d240c7b62b_crop_exact.jpg?w=1200&h=1200&q=75).

  7. Unfortunately it is going to take a few more generations to come and go before we genuinely see any shift in this sort of thing. We have too many people alive that were brought up thinking it is OK to mock people, they then raised others to think it is OK. It won’t ever fully go away but it will decline.
