  1. Well won’t you look at that? basically all the first world countries, plus the UK and the USA

  2. I’m actually really surprised Poland isn’t higher

  3. Lmao no offence to the German and the Dutch but I wouldn’t call their mindset or culture or country very innovative at all, if anything I find them very slow moving and antiquated in a lot of their ways of working.

They might have a good critical mass of innovation companies but I definitely don’t agree that they are super innovative at their core compared to eg. US

  4. But I thought all innovations werw made in America??!!?!?

  5. Armenian is getting up. We already have more unicorn startups per capita than Turkey, but some other stuff need to be done. Our government makes a new uni with help of MIT, which is great first step. Need to be the leaders of all the region.

  6. Should include that the Swiss (and to a lesser extent the Americans) have a lot of innovators from elsewhere moving in because of (for a lack of better words) “innovator friendly laws”

  7. Honestly, I am impressed with India.

It has less than $3000 per capita GDP and literally no other country on that map, under $10k per capita is anywhere near India.

Hell, India even beats countries like Brazil that have 4x per capita GDP as them.

If India ever gets to $10-$15k per capita GDP, it will be a technology powerhouse rivalling China

  8. Morocco being pulled by their r/place bots no less
