Hope this is resolved and the workers get the pay rise they deserve
Does anyone know how badly the system will be affected over the strikes? If the signallers are on strike, presumably no trains will run on those days?
That time of the year again
Nice, means I can WFH.
Stupid and frankly I’m not sure I see RMTs aim anymore. It’s pretty clear TfL have pushed as far as they can. Other unions disputes all seem settled and frankly it seems RMT is intent on pissing off the general public.
The settlement seems reasonable when you compare with other public sector organisations and with inflation falling the narrative of continuous massive inflation increases in the news seems to be falling away, curious if we end up tipping into recession and deflation what RMTs argument becomes then.
RMT member here; they’ll cave like they always seem to do lately 🙄
Maybe I’m more mindful of strikes lately, but it feels like the frequency strikes is increasing. I hope this city rebounds and we get over the cost of living problems.
TFL should standup to RMT, with WFH the city can still function and hopefully will end their continuous bullying of strike action
just bullshit earning 100k a year to push a button but still striking
