TL;DR:
* North Korea has sent Russia large quantities of artillery shells.
* Some are defective, causing damage to weapons and injuring Russian soldiers, Ukraine’s army said.
* Experts have questioned the quality of North Korean ammunition.
Karma
There were some images about two weeks ago posted in the Ukraine channel showing the explosives supplied with the Nth Korea shells. The quality quantity was all over the place. For artillery, having shells that produce the same results constantly are very important. Poorly made shells will either over shoot the target or land on your own soldiers. As an example, there was recent drone footage of Russian artillery barrages landing in empty fields miles short of the Ukraine lines.
If you can’t trust your fellow dictator for some high quality support, then who can you really trust?
Russia is a cheap nation fighting a dirty war
Gotta trust Ukraine. How can you not?
F me that was satisfying to hear
Given how many hole in ones Kim gets he seems like a perfectionist to me. So I don’t think I believe this…. has to be fake news.
That’s good and all, but it doesn’t negate the fact that Ukrainian soldiers still have to sit under artillery fire from shitty shells while they can’t properly fire back because of the shell hunger.
You know you fucked up when you have to rely on stuff from NK.
That’s what happens when you buy cheap ammo!
The so-called second best military in the world, after fighting a war with a country with a small army and no navy is begging a small tin-pot dictatorship for help after about a year of tactical ineptitude. And getting shoddy goods for their effort. Glorious.
South Korea is suddenly not as worried as they were yesterday about Seoul being shelled.
Good.
The less artillery tubes RU forces has, the better… it will compound damage on the remaining tubes since less artillery system means the rest will have to work harder.
Still, we need to manufacture more shells to give to AFU.
Woah woah woah. Let’s not be unfair to North Korea, here.
Low quality troops supplied to Russia by Russia are probably shooting themselves with passable North Korean artillery shells, too.
Apparently Putin had not heard North Korea is not known for the quality of its products.
The quality is fine.
The Russians are using them wrong.
1. Aim towards the sea
2. Fire
So simple.
Hope to see many Russian banana peel blown barrels in the coming year.
And with shit quality shells your aim is randomised due to propellant being not accurate. So then you got to fire a million shots to hit anything through dumb luck. Which in turn wears down that barrel even more.
I have been seeing a lot of Ukranian videos lately where RU artillery shells are incoming, but they seem to go all over the place. And lot of duds to.
The wonders of planned economy production, where meeting quotas so the boss can present good numbers to their boss and so on matter way more than quality.
🫡 ”Comrade Bossman! We have produced a million shells on time as ordered!”
#Shoigu! Gerasimov! Where’s the fucking QA/QC?!
I wouldn’t buy a North Korean chain for my bicycle.
Lol. Get rekt.
And honestly. This just makes the little neocon in my heart sew heppy (channeling Maid Marion).
The Norks have shown they have a terrible artillery supply system in place. This whole “Seoul will be destroyed by artillery in 30 seconds if war starts” is starting to seem like a 3 day special operation.
As in it ain’t gonna happen.
Can we (the west) just go finish off the Kims already? Or can we just look the other way and let the South Koreans flood the border like they want to.
I mean it’s North Korea, ravaged by Covid and going through constant famine. I doubt their workforce of slaves are the most reliable workers for quality products.
I Would stay away from anything w/ “made in North Korea” lol
I watched a video of a North Korean soldier who was able to escape to South Korea. Not only was he starving, malnutrition etc..the doctors removed several tape worms looking things from his body.
Seems like propaganda honestly.
You get, what you paid for.
