They have essentially the same descriptions except for its color. So how exactly are they different from each other? Also, is there any other material I can study to understand parking signs in finland?

  1. These questions have been asked here a lot if you search. In short, they are effectively the same but are associated with different main signs. Blue has the blue parking sign and yellow/red the red/blue no parking sign. The difference is that parking refers to actual marked parking areas whereas the no parking refers to roadside/streetside parking without market spots.

You can see the full combos here: https://www.iltalehti.fi/autot/a/2016061021707294

  2. Blue ones add a restriction (used with signs that mark a parking place), yellow ones add an exception (used with signs that forbid you from parking)
