“I did that!” stickers everywhere! Inflation normal, wages up, jobs up, prices down, stock market up. Biden is a wizard.
I thought they’d been falling all year?
Prices of what? Not food that’s for sure.
Funny, all the Trump supporters around me keep talking about the terrible economy and how everything is going to shit.
But Trump was SO amazing before Covid. Idiots.
Went from Insane to Ridiculous
And wages have been increasing faster than inflation for several months too. Turning the massive ship that is this economy takes time and considering how much damage Trump and the GOP did on their way out it’s amazing how quickly and effectively Biden has done good on the economy. Mid-next year it’s looking like nearly every economic factor, both micro and macro, will be vastly improved if not outright very good.
Not grocery prices. They seem to still be going up.
I noticed bacon is back to a reasonable price.
I hate these “lies”. Sure this information may be true in some twisted way, but it sure as heck aint the truth to my wallet.
Since April 2020? Wasn’t that when Trump was in office?
Everyone and their brother has been proclaiming that inflation is all Biden’s fault. Could they be wrong?!?!?!
And did you notice Saudi Arabia going to raise he gas price because of this . and they will raise it again when its closer to election time 🙁 All the few billionaire are paid for by the monopolies. that is why prices were and are high. The few billionaire rule this world on the backs of the low/middle class. people are smart and learn.
not in Boston
In all seriousness, MAGA are MAGA, but how do we as a collective group begin to disseminate this information to the masses so that as many Independents see the facts? Is the a grassroots/individual effort? Is there anything that can be done? Serious question, looking for ideas to help the effort.
Weird Publix and Kroger are laughing with each other in the corner.

McDonald’s hash browns need to not be 4$ anymore.
Sure Jan.gif (and not saying it’s all Biden’s fault). Just anecdotally seems like everyone I know is struggling regardless of any hopium like this.
Thanks, Biden.
For whom exactly?
Gas prices are much cheaper than they were a few months ago which is one of the bigger drivers of the PCE.
People in this thread are like “doesn’t seem cheaper to me!” and you can be like “well what about gas?” and they’ll say “well besides gas!” and you can be like “well, that’s what the PCE measures soooo…”
Feels like people just aren’t putting up with the price gouging. It’s either they bring them down to a reasonable price or we just don’t shop.
Fuck National Grid
So we stopped the bleeding (for now) that does nothing to significantly lower rents, auto insurance (mine doubled) housing prices etc etc. Shit is still real hard for us working class people out there and some report saying hey prices fell by less than a fraction of a percentage point doesn’t mean shit. My wife and I are making more than we’ve ever made but times are still really tough, I say that knowing things are worse for others, we haven’t needed charity or anything like alot of people have so we have that to be thankful for. Food prices are insane, ground beef was on sale for like 4.99 a pound at my local grocery store. On sale for that price. I went to the gas station where gas had jumped back to 3.13 a gallon for 2.59 in less than a day. I wanted a 20oz coke and they were $2.79. This shit is wild and it’s way early to start pounding your chest about how things are turning around. I’m not saying this isn’t good news but it’s going to take years for things to get back to normal since massive deflation isn’t a realistic expectation.. a modest pay wage ain’t going to make up for the ground lost over the last few years
Biden had the projections and data. It’s why he didn’t panic last month with unfavorable polling. Over the next year, I anticipate it will be noticed by more Americans (along with more political apathetics being reminded by who Trump is).
It’s still nerve-wracking. But don’t doomscroll or pretend it’s 2016. It’s counter-productive.
Oh don’t worry, everything is still expensive as fuck. Gas, groceries, rent, mortgages….all the fun stuff.
Keep boycotting their crap! It’s working.
On what exactly?
And let that be a lesson that our overlords are generous, and kind!
