Russian war bloggers call for withdrawal from Kherson region after Ukraine downs three Su-34s

Three Su-34 fighter-bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces were destroyed in the Kherson region, along with news of the imminent delivery of F-16s to Ukraine, causing panic among Russian war bloggers. The Russian Telegram Channel “Airborne troops for for Honesty and Justice”, which is affiliated with the officers from the Dnieper group of the Russian armed forces, is demanding an immediate “goodwill gesture” on the Southern front.

    The channel confirmed the news about three Russian Su-34s downed in the Kherson region, specifying that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had taken down the Russian aircraft near the town of Chaplynka, which is deep in the rear of the Russian army in the Kherson region, approximately 60 km from the front line.

  3. They’re right. They should all leave, rather than die. I mean, if they want to stay and die, that’s fine, they can do that too, but it would be better and easier for everyone if they just leave.

  4. They literally can’t withdraw. Any retreat in this area moves Ukraine closer to cutting the land bridge to Crimea and in better position to target the Kerch bridge. I hope Ukraine uses Russia’s lack of fortifications in this area to inflict severe attrition on Russian troops and equipment.

  6. This news just goes to show how powerful the Patriot Missile system can be if used for “offensive” military operations.

    If Ukraine can get enough of them close to the front Russia will essentially have a NO-FLY ZONE over the Ukraine Territory it occupies.

    Using Patriot Systems on offense could be a huge “game changer” in the war along with F-16 Aircraft.

    Russia cannot continue to have “Catastrophic” military equipment, aircraft and personnel losses which it seems to be having for the past 2 months.

    In addition, the west should:

    Confiscate the $300 Billion of Russia owned funds and giving it to Ukraine to “FUND” the war. Thus, Russia is paying for a war against itself.

    I believe that a few patriots and F-16s can change the balance for Ukraine in the air, and that will eventually change the war.

    This is not the first time Russia loses a jet. Also it is Ukraine losing tens of soldiers almost daily trying to get a foothold in Krynky.

    I don’t expect Reddit to be pro-Russian or anything but good god this sub was so much better back in 2016-17 when Twitter moms didn’t know about it.

    Ze cries about needing to mobilise half a million people, Ukraine can’t stabilise the front by any means in Donbass yet poor Russians are losing the plot and now think about giving up on Kherson?

    In what world does any of this make sense?

    Unless Ukraine has major offensive capabilities there won’t be another “tactical reverse attack” for Russia, forget about it.
