Well that’s a relief. Don’t want them getting tired
Everyone should be working reduced hours, but this isn’t a reduction in hours and instead a restoration of the previous arrangement.

How’s about some new recommendations for every fucking one?
“The Department of Public Expenditure previously estimated that the cost of removing the hours would be €645m a year, equal to over 10,000 extra full-time workers.”
Does that mean they’re creating 10,000 job?
So day will go from 7.24 to 7? pretty decent. If only we could have flexi time back now as well.
Going back to what they worked in 2013 isn’t as sexy a title i guess
I’m all for better work life balance but many public services are plagued with massive delays. It took us 3 months to get a birth certificate for our baby and we’re still waiting for her passport 3 months after that. Apparently, it’s taken some new borns up to 6 months to get their passport. I’ve heard of similar stories in the inis department for immigration registration. It looks like there’s a massive shortage of resources, probably not the most appropriate time to cut down on working hours.
I hope they get the old work week back. Hopefully will boost morale and increase output.
Now if we can only get them to function correctly on top of that we’ll be laughing.
